      Conciliation

Conciliation is a process for managing variances and resolving disputes, outside of the traditional court system. The process is conciliatory rather than adversarial in nature and may be conducted as a stand-alone service, or in combination with other dispute prevention and resolution procedures.

      Mediation

Mediation allows the parties to engage in dialogue, to clarify their views, to define the issues in dispute, to identify their needs and interests, to explore viable solutions and to reach, whenever possible, a mutually satisfactory agreement that settles the dispute between them.

      Private Arbitration

From a practical perspective, arbitration is the investigation and determination of matters of difference between contending parties, by an independent and impartial neutral third party. Arbitration is either compulsory or consensual in nature. Ad hoc arbitration services are offered under the auspices of the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, which may be adapted to suit the procedural needs of the parties and the circumstances of their case.
