In civil and scriptural legal traditions, donation is the transfer of property to another person on a gratuitous basis. This lecture examines the topic of donation through a comparative legal approach to reading and understanding the meaning, and purpose, of the underlying principles, and effects of donation as a means of transferring and receiving property and assets. Here, in relation to the law of circulation, it is understood that giving and receiving are equally important.
