Scope and application

Purpose and Intent of Events

Talks for all events consist of a series of carefully prepared conversations, lectures and experiential workshops on a wide range of fundamental and civil rights topics which are relevant for Canadians today. The purpose of these events is to generate positive transformations in people, places and power structures.

Contents at the intersections of Law, Art and Religion (LAR)

Talks for all event, lectures and experientials are multi-disciplinary in content, featuring participants of all walks of life and context experts who are willing to share real life cases, in a friendly, intimate and non-judgemental manner, with a view to promoting a better understanding and appreciation of the complex adaptive nature of justice as a systems, and the real-life outcomes of various preventive, restorative or curative procedures.

Attendance

Conferences may accommodate up to 100 individuals.
Experiential workshops may accommodate, ideally, from 22 to 28 participants.

Duration of events

Conferences are available on a half or full day basis, and may include opening statements and prayers, AM-PM health-breaks, light-meals and refreshments and other facilities for participants and event-moderators. Conference plans, agendas and other contents are generally developed on a case by case basis in close collaboration with our clients, and their authorized partners or collaborators.*

Workshops are available in 1 or 2 full-day plans, and typically include opening statements or prayers, AM-PM health-breaks, light-meals and refreshments and other facilities for participants and event-moderators. Workshop plans, agendas and other contents are generally developed on a case by case basis in close collaboration with our clients, and their authorized partners or collaborators.

*In some rare cases, we may solely provide and deliver conference-contents.

Private nature of events

Registered participants only. Participants will be identified upon their arrival and given attendance passes for access to conference and meetings rooms and facilities. Doing so allows us to provide our clients with the security they need and expect in order to fully enjoy their attendance to one of our special events, lectures or experientials. Due to their delicate nature, the contents and discussions held during Praxis Forum events, lectures or experientials workshops are not available or otherwise distributed online.

Intellectual Property Rights

Individual or shared intellectual property rights may apply to material created or co-produced during the conference or workshop development process.

Cost of events

The cost of a Talks for All event, lecture or experiential workshop may depend on its scope and intended outreach, notably where it is understood, that the contents of such special events will be offered to a multitude of participants or corporate members within a department or regional. This said, costs may be established on a fixed hourly rate, a percentage base or a flat-all inclusive rate. In addition, travel and logding and other administrative cost may apply to the organization and delivery of Talks for All events on behalf or in collaboration with our clients and their partners.

Cancellation of events (including lecture, and workshops)
