Scope and application


General Information

In the event of withdrawal, settlement, postponement, or cancellation of a dispute resolution or prevention proceeding, the arbitrator's fees will be billed at the stated hourly rate, in accordance with our Cancellation Policy, plus applicable taxes.

Cancellation Policy

Notice period for cancellation of a preparatory, procedural, or hearing date and applicable penalties:

  • 61 to 90 days from the date set for a preparatory, procedural, or hearing: 1 hour per canceled day.
  • 31 to 60 days from the date set for a preparatory, procedural, or hearing: 2 hours per canceled day.
  • 11 to 30 days from the date set for a preparatory, procedural meeting or hearing: 4 hours/per day canceled.
  • 1 to 10 days from the date set for a preparatory, procedural meeting or hearing: 6 hours/per day canceled.

Requirements

A party may cancel a service request, without penalty, at any time before signing the arbitration protocole. To this end, please submit a written notice to secretariat@praxis-forum.com, with the mention ''cancellation'' in the object section of your e-mail. A confirmation of reception will be sent to you.

A party who wishes to abandon a claim, may do so by submitting a written notice of termination to secretariat@praxis-forum.com, with the mention ''termination of proceeding'' in the object section of the e-mail. A confirmation of reception will be sent to you.
