Promoting mutual respect between individuals is the first ingredient to making justice happen. We hope that our recognition events, lectures, and experientials will be discrimination free environments for all participants.
The present policy brief serve's as a reminder that ''Discrimination'' on the basis of age, sex, colour, national or ethnic origin, race, religion, marital or family status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, criminal record, disability, language or political opinion is strictly prohibited.
In the context of the provision of products, services, facilities or accommodation customarily available to the population, a discriminatory practice would include:
- the denial, or to deny access to products, services, facilities or accommodation to any individual on a prohibited ground of discrimination, or
- to differentiate adversely in relation to any individual on a prohibited ground of discrimination.
We expect that all participants, including our much esteemed local partners and collaborators, will understand, accept and proactively comply with their legal obligation to abstain from perpetrating discrimination or promoting discriminatory practices, before, during and after a Praxis Forum event, lecture or experiential workshop.
Join us in our effort to ensure safe, healthy and inclusive learning and development environments for all participants.
