Strategic planning is a living process that honors your community’s past, anchors your present realities, and builds a sustainable foundation for future generations. Praxis Forum guides leadership and administration through a collaborative multi-year planning process.
This session helps your organization clarify its long-term direction, establish core priorities, and balance daily operational responsibilities with your overarching vision. By aligning funding and resources with community-driven goals, we help build resilient structures capable of delivering high-quality, continuous services.
Purpose:
This proposal outlines a customized Strategic Planning Session designed specifically for your community’s leadership and executive team. Our objective is to facilitate an internal planning process that empowers your team to co-author a practical, comprehensive Strategic Plan. This process and final document will deliver:
• A clear definition of your community’s long-term vision, mission, and core values;
• Defined strategic priorities that protect and advance community interests;
• An internal and external risk assessment to anticipate and navigate challenges;
• A resource and funding alignment framework centered on long-term sustainability;
• Meaningful progress and success indicators defined by your community.
Once finalized, this Strategic Plan serves as a stable foundation for the annual operational plans of all departments, programs, and services under your authority.
Our Approach:
Praxis Forum utilizes a Complex Adaptive Systems approach. We view your organization not as a rigid, static hierarchy, but as a living, evolving network rooted in relationship-building and community resilience. This methodology values adaptability, historical context, and continuous growth, ensuring your governance structures remain responsive to the community's natural rhythm and changing environments.
Strategic Plan Objectives:
1. Chart long-term community and organizational direction;
2. Identify priority goals for sustainable growth and community well-being;
3. Align financial, human, and material resources with your core vision;
4. Strengthen local decision-making using adaptive strategic tools;
